This unique positioning technology is mainly used in pick & place robots, in order to manipulate small objects at very high speeds. With this technique the printing head can move faster compared to traditional 3d printers.
MAGNETIC BALL JOINTS
These joints consist of a strong spherical neodymium magnet, combined with a steel CNC machined cup and a PTFE liner. This unique combination provides “zero backlash” joints.
The geared extruder, combined with a hobbed pulley and spring loaded idler gives awesome printing results. The lever makes it also very easy to change filament.
